SFTP Error Could not connect to SFTP Server

Problem​

SFTP file transfer password error: SFTP Error:Could not connect to SFTP Server

SFTP Inbox Creation Error

Cause​

SFTP file transfer error message will show when you input the incorrect password or SFTP data into the SFTP account section from the File Transfer Hub in the Vault.

Solution​

  1. Click Cancel to exit the SFTP account prompt.
  2. In the Vault, select the SFTP inbox directory created for the transfer.
  3. Click the Manage Inbox option in the top panel.
  4. In the prompt, select the appropriate SFTP inbox.
  5. Click the Copy option under Shareable SFTP Setup Link.
  6. Paste the link in your local browser.
  7. Click the Copy Password to Clipboard option by the password field.
  8. Paste the password along with the name, host and port into the initial SFTP account prompt under the File Transfer Hub panel.
